Unrivalled industrial builders of cold cruelty, they secretly ally themselves with Count Dooku and the Confederacy of Independent Systems (the Separatists) to manufacture millions of battle droids within their foundry factories. It was, in fact, in their secret laboratories that the very first technical blueprints for an ultimate space superweapon were drawn up, which would later become the Galactic Empire’s fearsome Death Star.
