Product origin and universe
The vehicle and character featured in this set appear in the original film *Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope* (1977), directed by George Lucas. The X-34 Landspeeder, manufactured by the fictional brand SoroSuub, is the civilian vehicle used by the young farmer Luke Skywalker on the desert planet of Tatooine. It is aboard this anti-gravity vehicle, weathered by the arid climate, that Luke Skywalker travels across the sandy expanses before crossing paths with the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, and then the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, marking the starting point of his journey in the saga.
