Origin and background of the licence

In the Star Wars universe, Kyber crystals are closely linked to the Force and form the energy core of lightsabres. The colour of the blade varies depending on the crystal and its user, giving rise to the famous blue, green, purple or red lightsabres associated with the Jedi and the Sith.
