STAR WARS - POP Nooks - Yoda's hutt

This collectible figure represents Jedi Master Yoda in his home on the planet Dagobah. This model is part of the Funko Pop! Nooks thematic range.

The distinguishing feature of this model is its diorama design: it takes the form of a three-dimensional space (shelf insert or "book nook") designed to be nested between books or displayed as part of a Star Wars collection. The official inscription on the original box under the figure's name reads "Vinyl Bobble-Head", meaning that the figure is mounted on a spring that allows its head to move at the slightest movement (a compulsory feature on all Star Wars and Marvel licences produced by Funko). The set is attached to its base and supplied in a closed transparent protective case.

Yoda's hut made its first cinematic appearance in 1980 in Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, then in 1983 in Star Wars, Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Established in the middle of the swamps of the isolated planet Dagobah, this rudimentary dwelling made of mud, branches and stones reflects the ascetic lifestyle of the old Jedi Master after his exile following the purge of the Order. It was in this refuge that Luke Skywalker received his rigorous training and discovered the secrets of the Force.

Developed by Funko, the "Pop! Nooks" collection is directly inspired by the trend for book nooks (mini-dioramas to slip between books). The series uses the background and architecture of a key film location to create a new visual dimension for libraries and exhibition spaces.
