Character background and universe (Lore)

Garazeb Orrelios, nicknamed Zeb, is a key member of the Ghost’s crew in the animated series Star Wars Rebels. Originally from the planet Lasan, he belongs to the Lasat species and formerly served in his people’s honour guard.

Following the destruction of Lasan by the Galactic Empire, Zeb joined the rebel cell led by Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus. Aboard the Ghost, he fights alongside Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren and Chopper in numerous operations against Imperial forces.

His great physical strength and military experience make him one of the group’s most formidable fighters. In particular, Zeb uses an AB-75 bo-rifle, a traditional Lasat weapon capable of functioning both as a combat staff and a blaster.

Behind his gruff demeanour and frequent arguments with Ezra or Chopper, however, lies a character who is deeply loyal to his companions. His journey, marked by the loss of his people and then by the discovery of new Lasat survivors, makes Zeb Orrelios one of the most endearing members of the Ghost’s crew.
