Add a soft and fun touch to your breaks with this 325 ml Stitch mug, complete with a removable plush sleeve. Manufactured by Stor under official Disney licence, it combines a white ceramic mug with a light blue fabric sleeve inspired by the fur of Experiment 626. This standard size is perfect for coffee, tea, hot chocolate or any other everyday drink.

The sleeve covers almost the entire outer surface of the mug whilst leaving the handle and upper rim accessible. Its long blue synthetic fur provides a soft texture and helps make it more comfortable to hold. The sleeve can be removed from the mug, allowing both parts to be used or cleaned separately.

The front features a large illustration of a smiling Stitch. His blue face, large black eyes, dark snout and long ears with pink interiors contrast with the fluffy surface of the sleeve. The reverse side remains entirely covered in blue fur to maintain a uniform appearance around the mug.

Once the sleeve is removed, the mug reveals a tropical design depicting Stitch amidst large green leaves. This dual design allows you to use the mug with its plush sleeve for a cosy feel, or on its own to fully enjoy its printed design. Character background and lore

Stitch was originally Experiment 626, an alien creature created by the scientist Jumba Jookiba to wreak havoc. He possesses considerable strength, advanced intelligence, great resilience and the ability to learn very quickly, but his initial behaviour is primarily driven by destruction.

After escaping from captivity, Stitch crash-lands on the Hawaiian island of Kauaʻi. Lilo Pelekai, a lonely young girl, discovers him in a shelter and adopts him, thinking he is a particularly strange-looking dog.

Through his time with Lilo and her sister Nani, Stitch gradually discovers the importance of ‘ohana, a concept of family whereby no one should be abandoned or forgotten. This relationship transforms his behaviour and enables him to transcend the purpose for which he was created.

His blue appearance, large ears and expressive smile have become the character’s most recognisable features. The plush sleeve directly echoes these characteristics, transforming the surface of the mug into a soft representation of his fur, whilst the mug’s tropical design recalls his arrival and his new life in Hawaii.
