Character background and universe
Since her first appearance in Street Fighter II, Chun-Li has been a former Interpol agent whose initial quest was to avenge her father’s death by tracking down the Shadaloo crime syndicate and its leader, Mr Bison. In the story of Street Fighter 6, following the collapse of the criminal organisation, Chun-Li left her post with the police to open her own dojo. Now a respected mentor within her community, she teaches tai chi, looks after the young Li-Fen and continues to perfect her formidable, lightning-fast kicks, such as the legendary Hyakuretsukyaku.- *
