Introduced by Nintendo in 2013 in the video gameSuper Mario 3D Worldon the Wii U console (and revisited in the adventures of theSuper Mario 3D Land series), Cat Mario is a transformation achieved when the protagonist picks up a Super Bell. This transformation grants Mario a yellow cat suit and alters his standard physical abilities.
