Odyn is one of four members of the new generation of mutant turtles introduced in the extended narrative arc of *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin*, further developed in the prequel and sequel miniseries *The Lost Years*, published by IDW Publishing from 2023 onwards. Raised in secret by Casey Marie Jones and April O’Neil alongside his brothers and sisters (Uno, Yi and Moja), Odyn undergoes rigorous martial arts training to master the art of ninjutsu. Within the group, he immediately stands out for his imposing stature, colossal physical strength and immense appetite – character traits that are strongly reminiscent of Michelangelo’s personality. Despite his gentle, cheerful and sometimes slightly naive nature, Odyn transforms into a formidable warrior on the battlefield, wielding his weapons with power to rid the streets of a devastated, futuristic New York and uphold the honour of the Hamato clan.
