TOY STORY 5 - Series 1 - 3D Foam Bag Clip (Display 24 Pcs)

Discover Pixar’s iconic toys as well as the new characters from Toy Story 5 with this display set of 24 3D Foam Bag Clip keyrings – Series 1, designed by Monogram International. Each mystery pouch contains a small embossed figurine to attach to a bag, pencil case, lanyard or set of keys.

The display pack contains 24 individual opaque pouches. The design contained in each pouch is selected at random and cannot be identified before opening. Several identical designs may therefore be present in a single display pack, whilst completion of the entire collection is not guaranteed.

This first series comprises 11 collectable designs, comprising nine standard versions and two rare exclusive variants. The designs in the collection feature Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Fido, Rex, Lilypad, Smarty Pants, Atlas and Snappy. The two rare designs are included at random and their presence in a given display pack is not guaranteed.

Each keyring features a compact, three-dimensional design, whilst retaining the colours and key distinguishing features of the character depicted. Made from a lightweight moulded material, the models feature a plastic clip for easy attachment to various accessories. Their height varies between approximately 5 and 7 cm, depending on the character.

The box can be opened to serve as a counter display, allowing the 24 pouches to be arranged within a retail space. This format is also ideal for collectors wishing to discover several characters from the series whilst retaining the element of surprise inherent in blind bags.

Background and character lore

In Toy Story 5, Bonnie’s toys face a new form of competition when she is given Lilypad, a smart tablet shaped like a frog. Lilypad quickly becomes the centre of her attention and challenges the place of traditional toys in her playtime.

Jessie now takes on the role of sheriff in Bonnie’s bedroom. When Lilypad tries to help the child bond with her classmates via a digital network called ‘The Pond’, Jessie seeks another way to preserve imagination and traditional play. She embarks on this mission with her faithful horse, Pile-Poil.

After leaving the bedroom with La Bergère, Woody returns to his old friends when he learns that Jessie and Pile-Poil have gone missing. He then teams up once again with Buzz Lightyear, who has become Jessie’s deputy, to find them and come to the aid of the toys under threat.

The series also introduces several old technological toys. Smarty Pants is an electronic potty-training device long forgotten in a shed. Snappy is a small, enthusiastic camera that cherishes the memories of its former owner, whilstAtlas is a talking hippopotamus equipped with a GPS system.

Although she represents modern technology, Lilypad shares Jessie’s desire to help Bonnie. Their conflict therefore stems less from their intentions than from their methods: one favours digital interaction, whilst the other champions imagination, stories and the bonds forged through toys.

This clash between classic toys and smart devices allows *Toy Story 5* to explore changing play habits, whilst revisiting the saga’s timeless themes: friendship, loyalty and the fear of being abandoned as the child grows up.
