Character’s origin and lore
Lucien Vanserra is a key character in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series written by Sarah J. Maas. A native of the Court of Autumn, he becomes close to Tamlin and lives for a time at the Court of Spring.
Recognisable by his red hair, his lively temperament and his sometimes biting humour, Lucien is also physically marked by the loss of one eye, which has been replaced by a magical eye capable of perceiving certain things invisible to the ordinary eye.
