Meet Buster Blader, the formidable warrior specialising in hunting dragons, with this Funko POP! Animation No. 2561 figurine inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh!. The figurine stands approximately 10.8 cm tall.

The design captures Buster Blader’s iconic look, with his imposing purple armour edged in gold, his helmet with long spikes, and his large sword held out in front of him. The red and turquoise details on the armour add contrast to the overall look, whilst the combat stance retains the massive, warrior-like character of the original monster. The Chase version features the same design with a metallic finish intended to accentuate the armour’s appearance.

Made from PVC/vinyl, this POP! is available in a standard version or as a Chase variant, inserted at random into the production run. Character origin and lore

Buster Blader is a Level 7 Effect Monster, Earth Attribute and Warrior Type in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It has 2600 ATK and 2300 DEF, but its true speciality lies in its effect: it gains 500 ATK for each Dragon monster controlled by the opponent or present in their Graveyard. This ability directly explains its identity as a fighter specialising in battling Dragons.

The character is also closely linked to several cards from the Destructive Sword archetype, which expand upon his role as a Dragon hunter and reinforce various strategies built around him. Among his most famous evolutions is Dark Paladin, a Fusion Monster requiring Dark Magician and Buster Blader as Fusion Materials.

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, Buster Blader is associated with Yami Yugi’s deck and, in particular, becomes an essential element in the creation of Dark Paladin during certain major duels. His imposing armour, massive sword and effect—which is directly enhanced by the presence of Dragons—have made him one of the most recognisable warriors from the franchise’s first generation of cards.
