Disney Zootopia – 10th Anniversary – Series 73 – 3D Foam Bag Clip Keyrings – Display of 24 mystery pouches

Meet the most iconic residents of the animal metropolis of Zootopia with this display pack of 24 3D Foam Bag Clip Keyrings – Series 73, designed by Monogram International. Created to mark the 10th anniversary of the first film, this collection brings together several main and supporting characters in the form of small relief figurines to attach to various accessories.

The display pack comprises 24 individual opaque pouches. Each contains a randomly selected keyring, the contents of which cannot be identified until the pouch is opened. As the mix is not guaranteed, several identical items may be present, and a single display pack does not necessarily contain the entire collection.

Series 73 comprises 11 collectable models: Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Chef Bogo, Mayor Lionheart, Yax, Officer Clawhauser, Bellwether, Judy in her Mammals’ Gala outfit, young Nick in his Scout uniform, Flash and Gazelle. The last two models are rare ‘chase’ variants, randomly included in the production run.

Each keyring features a stylised three-dimensional design and measures approximately 5 cm in height. Its clip allows it to be attached to a rucksack, pencil case, zip fastening, lanyard or set of keys.

Background and character lore

Zootopia is set in a vast metropolis inhabited by anthropomorphic animals from many different species. The city is divided into districts that replicate various natural environments, allowing predators and prey to live together within a modern society.

Judy Hopps is a young rabbit from Rabbitville who dreams of becoming a police officer. Despite the prejudices linked to her small size and her status as prey, she manages to join the Zootopia police force and finds herself in charge of an investigation into the disappearance of several mammals.

She teams up with Nick Wilde, a cunning fox who makes a living through various scams. Behind his nonchalant demeanour, Nick harbours a deep mistrust of a society that has long reduced him to the stereotypes associated with predators.

Chief Bogo, an imposing buffalo, heads up Central Precinct and is initially sceptical of Judy’s abilities.Officer Clawhauser, a jovial cheetah working at reception, brings a warmer touch to the precinct’s rigorous environment.

Mayor Lionheart is the lion who officially leads the city at the start of the story. His deputy, Dawn Bellwether, is a small, unassuming sheep who seems regularly relegated to the background, but in reality plays a central role in the plot uncovered by Judy and Nick.

Flash is a sloth employed in the vehicle registration department. His extremely slow manner of speaking and working leads to one of the film’s funniest scenes. Gazelle, a popular singer and activist, champions peaceful coexistence between the different species.

The collection also includes Yax, a naturist yak, as well as versions of Judy and Nick inspired by specific moments from their past or their investigation. Together, these characters illustrate the main themes of Zootopia: the fight against prejudice, overcoming stereotypes and building a society in which everyone can choose their own path.
