Thor is depicted in a new, intricately detailed combat outfit, complete with his blonde hair, cape and Asgardian armour. The numerous joints in the head, arms and legs allow him to be posed in various positions, whether to recreate an action scene or to display him as part of a Marvel collection.

The figure comes with three accessories: an alternate head, the enchanted hammer Mjolnir and the mystical axe Stormbreaker. These two iconic weapons can be combined with different poses to depict Thor ready to face the threats facing the Avengers.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Thor Odinson is the Asgardian god of thunder, son of Odin and one of the founding members of the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Endowed with superhuman strength, stamina and longevity, he can also control lightning and storms.

Long destined to succeed Odin on the throne of Asgard, Thor initially proved impulsive and overconfident. His father therefore banished him to Earth and temporarily stripped him of his powers in order to teach him humility and a sense of responsibility.

During his exile, Thor learns to protect others rather than seek glory. He regains his dignity, recovers his hammer Mjolnir and gradually becomes one of Earth’s principal defenders.

Mjolnir is a weapon forged from the mystical metal uru. Enchanted by Odin, the hammer can only be lifted by someone deemed worthy. It enables Thor to channel his powers, fly and unleash powerful bursts of energy.

Thor joins Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye when the Avengers are formed. Together, they repel the invasion led by Loki and the Chitauri, before facing numerous threats capable of endangering Earth and the entire universe.

After Hela destroys Mjolnir, Thor discovers that his power does not depend solely on his hammer. He learns to control lightning directly and helps evacuate Asgard before the kingdom is destroyed during Ragnarök.

To face Thanos, Thor has Stormbreaker forged in Nidavellir. This powerful Asgardian axe, crafted by the master blacksmith Eitri, becomes his new primary weapon. In particular, it enables him to channel lightning and open the Bifrost.

After the battle against Thanos, Thor goes through a period of doubt and self-reflection. Nevertheless, he gradually resumes his role as a warrior and continues his adventures across the galaxy, notably alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy.
