BATMAN 66 - POP Heroes N° 624 - Batman with bomb

This vinyl collectible figure features the Batman character holding a bomb, issued to mark the 60th anniversary of the classic 1966 TV series. Issued by Funko in its Pop! Heroes collection, it is made of PVC.

The design of this figurine is directly inspired by the 1966 Batman spin-off film, linked to the classic TV series starring actor Adam West. The posture reproduces a recurring pop culture sequence from the film, in which the Dark Knight runs along a sea quay holding a large black bomb with a lit fuse above his head. In this deliberately absurd and comical scene, the hero desperately tries to get rid of the explosive but is constantly interrupted by civilian obstacles, including passers-by, an orchestra, young children and a family of ducks crossing the harbour.
