Origin and background of the spinning top (Lore)

Draciel Shield was originally one of the iconic spinning tops of the first generation of Beyblade, associated with Max Tate in the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade series. Its identity has always been closely linked to defence, with a design prioritising resistance to opponents’ attacks.

The X-Over Project is specifically aimed at reintroducing famous Beyblades from previous generations into Beyblade X. Draciel thus joins historic models such as Dranzer, Driger and Dragoon, as well as models from Metal Fight and Beyblade Burst, all adapted to the modern Beyblade X system.

This Draciel Shield 7-60D version therefore retains the original model’s defensive identity whilst adapting it to the X system with interchangeable parts and the combat mechanics specific to the current generation.

It is therefore both a functional spinning top for Beyblade X battles and a direct tribute to one of the great icons from the very earliest days of the franchise.
