Meet Mr Krabs, the famous owner of the Krusty Krab, with this Funko POP! Animation figure No. 2559, inspired by the SpongeBob SquarePants universe.
The design retains Mr Krabs’ key features: his red shell, long eye-antennas, light blue shirt, black belt and purple trousers. This version, however, stands out for its face, which appears to be melting, with drooping black eyes, an exaggeratedly stretched mouth and distorted features that give the character an expression that is as strange as it is comical.

Origin and character background (Lore)
Mr Krabs, whose full name is Eugene Harold Krabs, is a red crab living in Bikini Bottom and one of the long-standing characters in SpongeBob SquarePants. He appears in the very first episode of the series, ‘Help Wanted’, and runs the Krusty Krab, known as the Crabe Croustillant in French, where SpongeBob and Squidward work, amongst others.
His most famous character trait is his almost obsessive love of money. Mr Krabs is constantly seeking to increase his profits whilst reducing his expenditure to the bare minimum. He is also the father of Pearl, to whom he is very attached despite his particularly miserly nature.
His main business rival is Plankton, owner of the Chum Bucket, who regularly attempts to steal the secret recipe for Krabby Patties. This rivalry is one of the central themes of the series and explains why Funko has also presented this POP! figure as a version of Mr Krabs ready to protect the secret recipe from Plankton. However, the figurine’s ‘Melting’ design is a stylised, humorous interpretation by Funko rather than the advertised reproduction of a specific scene from the series.
