In the storyline of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Code is the last active member and guardian of the Kara organisation’s secret facilities following the downfall of its leader, Jigen. He worships the Otsutsuki clan with religious fervour and regards Isshiki as his god. Code is unique in that he is the only known survivor, alongside Kawaki, of the tragic ritual to select the vessel. Although he was not chosen, his body reacted by developing White Karma.
