Character background and lore

Aira Shiratori is one of the key characters in Dandadan. Initially convinced that she is destined to play a special role in the fight against supernatural forces, she gradually finds herself drawn into the events surrounding Momo Ayase and Okarun.

Her fate takes a dramatic turn when she comes into contact with the powers associated with Acrobatic Silky, a particularly powerful supernatural entity. This legacy enables Aira to assume a transformed form, which greatly enhances her physical abilities and alters her appearance.

In this state, Aira takes on a far more spectacular look and enjoys exceptional agility, thanks in particular to the traits inherited from Acrobatic Silky. This transformation quickly becomes one of the character’s most recognisable features during supernatural confrontations.

Despite her sometimes theatrical temperament and her great self-confidence, Aira gradually matures through her interactions with Momo, Okarun and their allies. Her role then evolves beyond that of a mere rival to become that of a fully-fledged fighter within the group.
