Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Momo Ayase is an ordinary schoolgirl brought up by her grandmother, a famous psychic (Seiko Ayase). Following a stupid bet with her classmate Ken Takakura (aka Okarun), Momo ventures into an abandoned hospital reputed to be home to aliens, while Okarun explores a tunnel haunted by spirits. Confronted with an attempted abduction by Serpoians, the emotional shock awakens in her latent psychic powers of phenomenal potency. Able to materialise and manipulate giant hands of kinesic energy to immobilise her enemies or lift colossal loads, she joins forces with Okarun to repel the successive waves of malevolent spirits and bizarre aliens that threaten their daily lives. This luminous design perfectly illustrates the spectacular, occult aura that envelops her during the series' paranormal confrontations.
