Origin and background of the character
Created by manga artist Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba recounts the tragic epic of Tanjiro Kamado in Taishō-era Japan, a land infested with man-eating nocturnal creatures. Nezuko Kamado is Tanjiro’s younger sister and, along with him, the sole survivor of the massacre of their family by the powerful Original Demon, Muzan Kibutsuji. Transformed into a demon herself during the attack, she miraculously retains some of her human emotions and a fierce determination to protect her brother and other humans. Carrying a bamboo stick in her mouth to suppress her predatory urges, she fights alongside Tanjiro, using her superhuman strength and her power to manipulate blood. This rare Funko Pop! figure captures a heart-warming moment, showcasing Nezuko’s tender and innocent smile, making for a superb, endearing piece for manga enthusiasts.
