Origin and character background
Tanjiro Kamado is the central protagonist of the globally successful Demon Slayer, the Shonen manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The sole male survivor of his family, which was decimated by the Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji, he embarks on a long journey of self-discovery to avenge his family and find a cure for his sister Nezuko, who has been transformed into a night creature.
