Character’s origin and backstory (Lore)
Son Goku is the main hero of Dragon Ball and one of the most powerful Saiyan warriors in his universe. Raised on Earth, he devotes much of his life to training and seeking out ever-stronger opponents, whilst protecting his family, friends and the planet from numerous threats.
The transformation into a Super Saiyan is one of the major turning points in Dragon Ball Z. Goku first achieves this form during his battle against Frieza on Namek, following Krillin’s death. His power then increases considerably and his appearance changes, with spiky golden hair and a distinctive energy aura.
This transformation subsequently became one of the most recognisable symbols of the entire franchise and paved the way for numerous subsequent evolutions of Saiyan power.
The Bitty POP! range brings this iconic look to life in a miniature version designed not only for collecting, but also for portability thanks to the range’s keyring cases.
