Piloted by Shinji Ikari as humanity’s last line of defence against NERV’s Angels, the EVA-01 combat cyborg steps off the screen to take the form of a scale model with unrivalled vintage charm. This kit preserves the iconic engineering of 1996, marking Bandai’s very first major technical success outside the Gundam universe.

The standout feature of this pack is its massive vertical launch platform (Transportation Stand). This imposing mechanical structure, adorned with safety markings and yellow and black stripes, serves both as a sturdy display stand and an immersive technical backdrop, securing the Evangelion by the shoulders just as it would in the Tokyo-3 launch shaft. The figure features a slender torso, movable jaws to simulate Berserk mode, and arms made of textured soft plastic moulded over the joints for a fluid, anatomical look. Entirely moulded from coloured injection-moulded plastic, this premium kit assembles without glue or paint for instant retro fun.
