Build one of the most iconic cars from the first Fast & Furious film with this model of the 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Brian O’Conner.

Manufactured by Revell under official licence, this kit reproduces the green Japanese sports car used by Brian at the start of his undercover mission in the Los Angeles street racing scene. Its streamlined bodywork, imposing rear wing, customised wheels and film-inspired livery allow you to instantly recreate the vehicle’s spectacular appearance.

The model comprises 75 plastic parts to be assembled on a 1:25 scale. It allows you to recreate, in particular, a 2-litre turbocharged engine made up of several components, as well as the cockpit, chassis and the vehicle’s main mechanical details. Once completed, the model measures approximately 17.9 cm long, 7.8 cm wide and 5.3 cm high.

A sheet of decals features the distinctive livery of the Mitsubishi Eclipse from *The Fast and the Furious*. The graphics can therefore be applied after painting to create a faithful reproduction of the car seen on screen.

This kit is available as a Model Set. Revell Aqua Color paints, a paintbrush and Revell Contacta Professional Mini glue are included with the model. The kit therefore contains the main components needed to begin assembly, although additional tools and paints may be used to achieve a more detailed finish.

Origin and background of the vehicle

In the first Fast & Furious film, Brian O’Conner is a police officer tasked with going undercover in Dominic Toretto’s gang to investigate a series of cargo thefts. To gain acceptance into the world of illegal street racing, he uses a specially tuned Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Brian enters the car in his first race against Dominic, Edwin and Danny. Despite the Eclipse’s performance, he pushes the engine beyond its limits for too long and loses the race. He is then forced to abandon the car following a confrontation with a rival gang.

With its green bodywork, graphic livery and significant mechanical modifications, the Mitsubishi Eclipse has become one of the visual icons of the saga’s early days. It also represents Brian’s entry into the world of street racing and his first encounter with Dominic Toretto’s family.
