In the world of Frieren, Heiter is the priest of the group led by the hero Himmel, who saved the world by defeating the Demon King after a ten-year quest. Affectionately nicknamed the "Corrupt Priest" by his companions because of his immoderate penchant for alcohol and his unfortunate tendency to get hungover before battles, he is nonetheless a cleric with prodigiously powerful healing and barrier powers. Decades after the dissolution of the group, now a respected old man and bishop of the holy church, he adopts the young orphan Fern. Sensing that his end was near, he tricked Frieren into taking the girl under his wing as a magician's apprentice, thus ensuring that Fern would have a future and a family after his death. This figurine commemorates his memory and his profound humanity, which so marked the elf's destiny.
