FUTURAMA - POP Animation N° 2211 - Super King Bender

This vinyl figure represents the robot Bender in his vigilante identity, Super King, based on his appearance in the animated science fiction series Futurama.

This model reproduces the character's visual characteristics using the graphic style typical of the Funko POP! range, with an oversized head and simplified body. The anthropomorphic robot is shown standing with a golden crown carved into the top of his skull and a red cape moulded into his back. The marking below the figure's name on the packaging reads "Vinyl Figure", designating a figure with a fixed head.

Designed primarily for display on a shelf, on a desk or in a window, this collector's item comes in its original cardboard packaging with a transparent window so you can see the figure without opening the box.

Introduced in the television series Futurama created by Matt Groening, Bender Tordeur Rodríguez (Bender Bending Rodríguez) is an industrial robot originally designed to bend suicide booths, who became a member of the Planet Express delivery team in the 31st century. In episode 11 of season 4 entitled LessThan Hero, Bender teams up with Fry and Leela after developing enhanced physical abilities following the application of a miracle cream. Together they form a team of amateur superheroes to fight crime in New New York. Bender adopts the alter ego of "Super King", an egocentric vigilante whose makeshift costume consists of a tablecloth cape and a fake royal crown.
