Origin and world of the character
The character of Ghost Face is the great recurring antagonist of the famous cinematic slasher saga Scream, initiated by director Wes Craven and screenwriter Kevin Williamson in 1996. The original plot takes place in the fictional small town of Woodsboro, where a mysterious killer, hidden beneath a long black suit and white mask inspired by Edvard Munch's famous painting The Scream, stalks his victims over the phone, quizzing them on horror movie clichés before striking. Unlike classic supernatural monsters, Ghost Face is not a single entity but an ephemeral identity adopted by different humans over the course of the films, all driven by revenge, madness or the quest for macabre notoriety. This figurine captures the terrifying aesthetic of this icon of horror cinema with mordant irony, taking up physical residence on your shelves as if he were about to choose his next target.
