Character background and lore

Maho Nishizumi is the elder sister of Miho Nishizumi and one of the heirs to the Nishizumi style, a prestigious school of sensha-dō founded on discipline, power and victory. She leads the team at Kuromorimine Girls’ Academy and distinguished herself as a top-level fighter at a very young age, to the point of also being recognised as an international athlete.

Although she appears cold and strict, Maho is nevertheless deeply devoted to her sister. She gradually comes to respect the more flexible and humane approach Miho takes to practising sensha-dō, even when Miho strays from their family’s traditional principles. In *Girls und Panzer das Finale*, Maho is also preparing to continue her training in Germany.
