Developed to bridge the power gap against the Titans’ new prototypes, the FXA-05D/RX-178 combined weapon system merges the versatility of the Gundam Mk-II with the armour and heavy thrusters of the G-Defenser support fighter. Now it’s your turn to step into the shoes of the engineer aboard the Argama and oversee the assembly of this mobile fortress, originally piloted by the dynamic duo Emma Sheen and Katz Kobayashi.

This premium-quality model showcases Bandai Hobby’s technical ingenuity and modular design. The kit’s standout feature is its versatility: the two models included can be displayed completely separately or assembled to form the massive Super Gundam. The G-Defenser anchors itself securely to the back of the Mk-II, deploying its huge, adjustable side propulsion pontoons and detachable cockpit. The parts are fully colour-injected in the official colours of the A.E.U.G. faction (white, midnight blue, yellow and red). To complete the display, the robot comes with a massive military arsenal: the gigantic long-range Beam Rifle, the extendable shield, the pack of retractable side missile pods and two translucent lightsabres.

The building experience focuses on pure mechanical enjoyment and precision. No messy glue is required; all the high-precision components slot together seamlessly through mechanical pressure, thanks to Bandai’s tried-and-tested Snap-fit technology. Once completed, this imposing set impresses with its sheer scale and finely moulded structural lines, establishing itself as an essential centrepiece to adorn your manga shelves.
