This ‘Ver.Ka’ variant showcases Bandai Hobby’s most advanced modern engineering, reworking the machine’s overall structural framework to give it a far more athletic, muscular and imposing design than previous generations.This high-end model showcases mechanical ingenuity and advanced features. Hidden beneath its outer shell is a complete internal skeleton (Inner Frame) of exceptional technical flexibility, allowing for deep knee bends and ‘Hatch Open’-style armour panel openings on the legs and thrusters. The model immediately stands out thanks to the stunning purple and white colour gradient on its dorsal pod wings, achieved using an advanced system of high-quality water-slide decals included in the box. The included arsenal is formidable: the high-powered laser rifle (Beam Rifle), the reinforced shield fitted with an integrated energy cannon (Shield), the heavy telescopic bazooka (Hyper Bazooka), three lightsabres and, above all, its six independent, fully deployable dorsal Fin Funnel units to replicate the area-of-effect attacks seen in the anime. To complete the display, Bandai includes an exclusive display stand in the shape of Amuro Ray’s crest, featuring transparent rods to suspend the Funnels in mid-air.The assembly experience offers a rewarding, meticulous challenge requiring surgical precision. No messy glue is required; all components slot together seamlessly via mechanical pressure, thanks to Bandai’s tried-and-tested Snap-fit technology.
