The FF-X7 Core Fighter is the central piloting and rescue unit housed at the heart of the RX-78-2 Gundam. At the massive 1/35 scale, this kit moves away from the traditional anime style to adopt a pure military modelling approach. The aircraft’s surfaces feature surgical panel line detailing, sculpted rivets, complex structural lines and mechanical textures that replicate a real air force fighter jet.

Faithful mechanical transformation and detailed cockpits:
The technical strength of this model lies in its complete mechanical accuracy. The transparent plastic canopy opens to reveal a meticulously detailed cockpit with its control screens, flight controls and ejector seat. True to the original design of the series, the delta wings, the nose of the craft and the upper dorsal aileron feature metal hinges and functional pivots, allowing the craft to be fully folded into ‘Core Block’ configuration so that it can theoretically slot into the torso of a mecha.

A complete diorama pack with detailed miniatures:
To create a realistic maintenance hangar scene, the box is packed with background accessories. The kit includes four articulated miniature figures to assemble and paint in 1/35 scale: the iconic pilot Amuro Ray, the technician Sayla Mass, and two ground crew members busy working on the craft. A sturdy, removable landing gear completes the set for a perfect ground display.
