Origin and character background
Every wand crafted by the eminent Garrick Ollivander contains a core made of highly potent magical materials, such as unicorn hair, phoenix feathers or dragon heartstrings. This willow wand belongs to Ronald Bilius Weasley, known as Ron, the sixth son of Arthur and Molly Weasley. Admitted to Hogwarts in 1991 and sorted into Gryffindor House, he quickly joins forces with Harry Potter and Hermione Granger to form an inseparable trio of pop culture. Although its owner does not always achieve the desired result, sometimes facing unexpected explosive effects due to a simple spell, Ron overcomes many major challenges. A Quidditch keeper and prefect during his school years, he distinguished himself during the battles in the Department of Mysteries, the Astronomy Tower and the Seven Potters, before interrupting his studies to hunt down the Horcruxes and defend the castle during the final battle of Hogwarts.
