The Mountain Troll is considered the most vicious of all trolls. Despite his daft appearance, the Mountain Troll is a very violent and powerful creature. It strikes before it realises what is happening and lashes out with its club at anyone who dares to get a little too close, posing a colossal threat to unwary wizards.

The first time Harry Potter and his friends meet him is at the Halloween banquet at Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. More specifically, it is Hermione who comes face to face with this giant in the girls’ toilets. Sent by Professor Quirrell to create a diversion so he could steal the Philosopher’s Stone, the Troll attacks the young witch. Luckily, Harry and Ron arrive just in time to save their friend and eventually defeat the creature by turning its own club against it using the Wingardium Leviosa spell.

This magnificent diorama, designed by The Noble Collection, captures the creature’s raw and menacing stature. The Mountain Troll is depicted amidst the wreckage of the school toilets, firmly brandishing his immense, heavy wooden club, carved with striking realism.
