Sirius Black, also known by the pseudonym Padfoot, was a pure-blood wizard from the noble and ancient House of Black. During his time at Hogwarts from 1971 to 1978, he rejected his family’s supremacist ideals, joined Gryffindor House and founded the famous Marauders alongside his friends James Potter, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. Having become Harry Potter’s devoted godfather, his fate took a turn with Voldemort’s downfall when he was wrongly convicted of a crime he did not commit. After twelve years of imprisonment, he made history in the wizarding world by becoming the very first prisoner to achieve the feat of escaping from Azkaban, before joining the Order of the Phoenix to fight the Forces of Evil once more.
