The living embodiment of the eldest of the Nine Foetuses of the Three Camellias, he is half-human and half-scourge, a unique biological condition that grants him an inexhaustible reserve of cursed energy that is directly converted into blood. Initially allied with Mahito and Geto’s faction during the terrible Shibuya incident to avenge the deaths of his younger brothers, Eso and Kechizu, his fate takes a dramatic turn during his fight to the death against Yuji Itadori. Just as he was about to deliver the final blow, Choso experienced a divine telepathic vision revealing that Yuji shared the same blood and the same cursed creator as himself. Guided by his absolute and unwavering brotherly instinct, he chooses to reject his former allies and embrace his role as the protective elder brother, wielding his devastating Blood Manipulation techniques (Slicing Exorcism and Supernova) to defend his younger brother’s life against the scourges.
