In the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, Nobara Kugisaki is a first-year student at the Tokyo Metropolitan School of Magic, alongside Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. She wields a hammer and nails as jujutsu weapons, which she imbues with occult energy to strike her opponents from a distance using her innate ‘Straw Corpse’ technique, which is particularly effective against demons possessing human bodies.

A character with a strong personality and unshakeable pride, Nobara categorically refuses to deny who she is, whether it be her rural origins or her femininity, making her one of the most memorable and beloved characters in Gege Akutami’s series, which has been serialised in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 2018.
