The world of K-Pop Demon Hunters (Lore)

K-Pop Demon Hunters features Rumi, Mira and Zoey, three K-pop superstars who make up the group HUNTR/X. When the three artists aren’t filling stadiums, they secretly use their powers to protect their fans and the human world from supernatural threats.

The film thus combines the spectacular world of K-pop — music, choreography, costumes and concerts — with that of fantasy and demon hunting.

Standing in HUNTR/X’s way are, notably, the Saja Boys, a boy band made up of demons and led by Jinu. Their aim is, in particular, to lure away HUNTR/X’s fans in order to weaken the Honmoon, the barrier that protects the human world from demonic forces.

Beyond the supernatural clashes, the story also explores the friendship between Rumi, Mira and Zoey, as well as themes of identity, trust and self-acceptance.
