Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

In KPop Demon Hunters, Rumi, Mira and Zoey form HUNTR/X, a trio of K-pop superstars leading a double life. When they’re not performing for their fans, they use their powers and training to defend the human world against supernatural threats.

Their mission becomes particularly challenging with the emergence of the Saja Boys, a rival boy band made up of demons disguised as attractive idols. The film thus combines music, choreography and fantastical battles, whilst highlighting the friendship and complementary strengths of the three members of HUNTR/X.
