The fearsome Ganondorf joins Hasbro’s Heroes of Hyrule collection with this articulated figure inspired by the video game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Depicted in his Demon King form, Link and Zelda’s iconic enemy features detailed sculpting that captures his armour, his long red hair and his particularly imposing stature.

Although part of a 15 cm range, the figure stands over 19 cm tall, faithfully reflecting the character’s massive build in the game. It features over 20 points of articulation, allowing Ganondorf to be posed in various combat stances or to recreate his menacing stance as he faces the heroes of Hyrule.

The figure comes with his imposing Sword of Miasma, a scabbard and an interchangeable hand specially designed to hold his weapon. These accessories allow for a variety of display set-ups and enable you to recreate the iconic battles from Tears of the Kingdom.

Character background and lore

Ganondorf is the recurring antagonist in The Legend of Zelda series. A member of the Gerudo tribe, he appears throughout the various eras of Hyrule as a powerful sorcerer driven by a thirst for domination. He is frequently associated with the Triforce of Power and can take on a demonic form known as Ganon.

In *The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom*, Ganondorf is portrayed as the former king of the Gerudo. Several millennia before the events of the game, he sought to conquer the kingdom of Hyrule, founded by King Rauru and Queen Sonia. After obtaining an occult stone, he transforms into the Demon King and unleashes his armies upon the kingdom.

Faced with his power, Rauru and the First Sages were unable to defeat him once and for all. The king therefore used his power to imprison Ganondorf beneath Hyrule Castle, at the cost of his own life. The seal held the Demon King at bay for thousands of years, but his body continued to emit a dangerous miasma that gradually spread throughout the kingdom.

When Link and Zelda discover his mummified remains in the depths of the castle, the seal is finally broken. Ganondorf awakens, destroys the Master Sword and triggers the phenomenon known as the Great Upheaval, which causes celestial islands to appear and opens vast chasms leading to the depths of Hyrule.

Having regained his true form and gathered his strength, Ganondorf prepares to face Link and the new Sages. Armed with his miasma-infused sword, he is the main threat in *Tears of the Kingdom* and one of the most imposing incarnations of the saga’s famous foe.

This Heroes of Hyrule figurine depicts Ganondorf in his restored form as the Demon King, armed with his weapon and ready to launch the final assault against the defenders of Hyrule.
