*The Apothecary’s Notebooks* is a series blending investigation, palace intrigue, traditional medicine and court mysteries. The story follows Maomao, a young, intelligent and observant apothecary, forced to work within the imperial palace, where her knowledge of poisons, remedies and symptoms leads her to solve numerous cases.
