Created by alien scientist Dr Jumba Jookiba, Experiment 626 is a genetic creature designed to be virtually indestructible, with disproportionate strength and superior intelligence, initially programmed to wreak destruction. After escaping from the Galactic Federation authorities, he crash-lands on Earth in the Hawaiian archipelago. Mistaken for a refuge dog, he is adopted by the young orphan Lilo Pelekai, who renames him Stitch. Teaching the Hawaiian family concept of "Ohana", the creature learns to develop emotions and use his abilities to protect his new family unit. This miniature version captures the original aesthetic of the protagonist during his island adventures.
