Origin and character lore

Minato Namikaze is the Fourth Hokage of Konoha and one of the most talented ninjas of his time. Nicknamed the ‘Yellow Flash of Konoha’, he is particularly renowned for his mastery of the Flying Thunder God Technique, which allows him to teleport instantly between marks placed on his kunai or in his surroundings.

Kushina Uzumaki is a kunoichi originally from the village of Uzushio. Possessing particularly powerful chakra, she became Konoha’s second host of the Kyûbi. Her long red hair, energetic temperament and great determination make her a prominent figure in the village’s history.

Minato and Kushina met during their youth and gradually started a family. Their happiness was brutally cut short on the night of Naruto’s birth, when the Masked Man released the Kyûbi and used it to attack Konoha. After battling the creature, Minato decides to seal part of his chakra within their son.

Both parents sacrifice themselves to protect Naruto from an attack by the Nine-Tailed Fox. In their final moments, they pass on their hopes, advice and love to him, despite the fact that they will not be able to be with him during his childhood. This scene is one of the defining moments of the entire saga.

The figurine captures precisely the peaceful family scene that Naruto was never able to experience: his parents together by his side, far from war and sacrifice. It thus represents not so much a battle scene as a symbol of the love that guided Minato and Kushina right up to their final moments.
