NARUTO CLASSIC - POP Animation N° 2229 - Kankuro

This vinyl figure represents the ninja puppeteer Kankuro, based on his appearance in the animated series and manga of the Naruto licence.

This model reproduces the character's visual characteristics using the graphic style typical of the Funko POP! range, with an oversized head and simplified body. The warrior is shown standing with his characteristic purple (Kabuki) face paint, wearing his full black Sunagakure jumpsuit and black spiked bonnet with the protective headband of the Hidden Village of Sand moulded onto his forehead. He wears his battle puppet wrapped in bandages on his back. The marking under the figure's name on the packaging reads "Vinyl Figure", designating a figure with a fixed head.

Designed primarily for display on a shelf, on a desk or in a window, this collector's item comes in its original cardboard packaging with a transparent window so you can see the figure without opening the box.

Created by Masashi Kishimoto, Kankuro is an elite shinobi from the hidden village of Sable (Sunagakure), son of the Fourth Kazekage and younger brother of Temari and Gaara. Distinguished by his use of evolving facial make-up and a traditional costume, he specialises in Kugutsu no Jutsu (the art of manipulating puppets in combat) using invisible strands of chakra emanating from his fingers. He remotely commands wooden weapons riddled with traps, poison blades and poison gas, like his creations Karasu (the Raven), Kuroari (the Black Ant) and Sanshōuo (the Salamander). First introduced as an arrogant competitor in the Chunin selection exam, he becomes a crucial ally of Konoha and a devoted protector of his brother when the latter rises to the rank of Kazekage.
