Black Maria is one of the Tobiroppo (the Six Warrior Queens), an elite unit within the Hundred Beasts Crew led by Emperor Kaido. Based on Onigashima during the Wano Country arc, she runs her own house of courtesans. She has consumed the Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit, the Rosamygale Grauvogeli Spider Fruit (Kumo Kumo no Mi), which allows her to transform into a fearsome arachnid whilst retaining her human torso. She uses illusions, sticky webs and a flaming staff to trap her opponents, notably during her memorable clash with Nico Robin and Sanji.
