Buggy, also known as Buggy the Clown, is one of the most recognisable recurring characters in One Piece. A former member of Gol D. Roger’s crew alongside Shanks, he later became captain of his own crew. Thanks to the Bara Bara no Mi, he can split his body into several parts, making him particularly unpredictable in battle.
In One Piece, Buggy first appears as an antagonist to Luffy, before returning on several occasions in roles blending rivalry, comedy and opportunism.
