Character background and lore

Saint Manmayer Gunko is a World Noble belonging to the Manmayer family and a member of the Knights of God, a group directly linked to the highest echelons of the World Government. She appears in the Elbaf arc, where her arrival quickly establishes her as one of the major new threats facing the protagonists.

Gunko possesses the powers of the Aro Aro no Mi, a Devil Fruit that allows her to create and control arrow-like forms. This ability gives her a highly distinctive fighting style, reinforced by her cold and authoritative demeanour.

Her membership of the Knights of God and her status as a Celestial Dragon place her at the heart of new revelations concerning the forces at the pinnacle of the One Piece world. Her appearance thus helps to further develop the political and military structure surrounding the World Government.
