Collect a range of iconic Up memorabilia with this collector’s set designed by Cerdá under official Disney Pixar licence. Presented in an illustrated box inspired by Carl and Ellie’s travels, the set brings together stationery and collectable items dedicated to the flying house, Paradise Falls and the film’s iconic objects.

The notebook features a beige cover decorated to resemble a travel journal. It features postmarks, stamps, postcards and the film’s retro logo, arranged in a layout reminiscent of souvenirs brought back from an expedition. It can be used for taking notes, keeping a diary or planning a list of future adventures.

The orange pen is topped with a design depicting the bunch of multicoloured balloons that enable Carl’s house to take flight. A brown strap adorned with small badges and symbols from the film can hold keys, a badge or a card holder thanks to the carabiner at one end.

The set also contains several postcards printed with scenes from Up. They feature Carl, Ellie, Russell, the house surrounded by balloons, the airship and the landscapes of Paradise Falls. They can be kept as mini-illustrations, used to decorate a notebook or sent to other fans of the film.

Round repositionable sticky notes feature the yellow and green ball motif associated with Pixar. A metal pin, meanwhile, is shaped like a grape-flavoured fizzy drink bottle cap, in reference to the badge given to Carl during his childhood. Origin and background of the items (Lore)

In Up, Carl Fredricksen meets Ellie when they are still children. They both share a passion for exploration and dream of one day travelling to Paradise Falls in South America. They grow up, get married and fill their home with memories, even though life’s difficulties force them to keep postponing their big trip.

After Ellie’s death, Carl refuses to give up the house where they lived together. To avoid being sent to a care home and to finally fulfil their promise, he ties thousands of balloons to the roof and transforms the house into a flying machine. The young scout Russell finds himself unwittingly swept up in this adventure.

The ‘Grape Soda’ badge holds a special place in their story. As a child, Ellie gave it to Carl as the official badge of his Explorers Club. Decades later, Carl gives this badge to Russell to recognise his courage and symbolically pass on to him the place Ellie occupied in his own life.

The postcards, travel stamps and the bunch of balloons, meanwhile, evoke the spirit of exploration that accompanies Carl throughout the film. They recall both the dream destination of Paradise Falls and the memories he built with Ellie during their life together.
