Defend your garden right down to your accessories with this display pack of 24 Plants vs. Zombies – Series 1 3D Foam Bag Clip keyrings, designed by Monogram International. Each mystery pouch contains a 3D design inspired by the fighting plants, zombies and iconic characters from the famous video game series by PopCap and Electronic Arts.

The display pack contains 24 individual opaque pouches. The contents of each pouch are selected at random and cannot be identified before opening. Several identical designs may therefore be present in a single display pack, whilst there is no guarantee that you will obtain the entire collection or a specific variant.

This first series comprises 11 collectable designs. The standard designs sometimes feature two characters on a single keyring: Sunflower and Pea-gun, Explosive Cherry and Walnut, Squash and Triple-Pea, Planterne and Split Pea, Sun Mushroom and Little Mushroom, Zombie, Cone Zombie, Gargantuar and Dave the Dingo. Two rare variants feature the Bucket Zombie and the duo of Undertaker and Repeater.

Each accessory takes the form of a stylised, three-dimensional moulded foam figurine. The models are approximately 5 cm tall and feature a ring for attaching them to a rucksack, pencil case, lanyard, zip fastener or set of keys.

Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

Plants vs. Zombies is a series of strategy games in which the player must defend their home against waves of the undead. To repel the invasion, the player places various plants in their garden, each with a specific function, whether it be attacking, generating energy or slowing down enemies.

The Sunflower produces the suns needed to plant new plants, whilst the Pea Shooter is one of the first offensive units available. The Triple Pea Shooter, the Split Pea Shooter and the Repeater are different variants capable of firing multiple peas or shooting in multiple directions.

The Walnut serves primarily as a defensive barrier. The Pumpkin crushes approaching enemies, whilst the Exploding Cherries trigger an explosion capable of eliminating several nearby zombies. The Undertaker, meanwhile, devours any enemies that come within its range.

Mushrooms, including the Sun Mushroom and the Little Mushroom, are particularly useful during night-time levels. The Lantern dispels the fog to reveal hidden squares and the zombies moving within them.

Zombies generally advance in a straight line towards the player’s house. Some carry a cone or a bucket for protection, whilst the gigantic Gargantuar stands out for his resilience and physical strength.

Dave the Dingo, known as Crazy Dave in the original version, guides the player throughout their adventure. Recognisable by his beard and the saucepan he wears on his head, he offers advice, provides various items and brings a significant touch of humour to the game’s world.
