History and background of the model

Reptincel made its first appearance in Japan in 1996 in the Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue video games for Game Boy. Drawn by designer Ken Sugimori, it was an intermediate stage between Salamèche and the final evolutionary stage, Dracaufeu. This quadrupedal Pokémon, which looks like a bipedal dinosaur, is characterised by its brick-red colour, the unique horn on the back of its skull and its famously aggressive and adventurous temperament, constantly seeking out powerful opponents to test its strength in battle.

Produced by Funko, this figurine allows collectors to recreate the Fire-type evolutionary line that is emblematic of the Kanto region on their shelves.
